Cavallotti, who initially joined as a replacement guitarist after Marco "Maus" Biazzi's exit, took to social media to share his heartfelt thoughts on this significant change.
In his statement, Cavallotti emphasized that his decision to leave was not driven by dissatisfaction or a desire to explore new opportunities. Instead, he expressed a serene acceptance of the change, reflecting on the wonderful decade he spent with the band. "Yes, I'm no longer part of Lacuna Coil," he confirmed, adding, "Although this decision isn't the result of my dissatisfaction or desire to explore new opportunities, I've calmly decided to accept it, considering these almost 10 wonderful years we've spent together, playing around the world."
The guitarist expressed deep gratitude towards his bandmates Maki, Andrea, Cristina, and Richard, as well as the fans, friends, and fellow artists who have supported him throughout his journey.
