Metal powerhouse Powerwolf has set sail on a new musical adventure with their latest single, "Sinners Of The Seven Seas." This epic track is the second release from their highly anticipated album "Wake Up The Wicked," slated to drop on July 26, 2024, via Napalm Records.

"Sinners Of The Seven Seas" isn't just another metal song; it's a time-traveling journey to the Renaissance era, complete with swashbuckling action and maritime thrills. The accompanying music video, shot on a replica of a 16th-century three-masted ship from Magellan's fleet, showcases stunning locations in southern France and Switzerland. This historic backdrop, which has graced many films and TV series, lends a cinematic quality to Powerwolf's latest visual offering.

The band, renowned for their dramatic storytelling and grandiose soundscapes, is building anticipation for their new album with this release and the earlier single "1589." The latter delves into the chilling tale of Peter Stump, the "Werewolf of Bedburg," executed in 1589 after confessing to multiple murders under torture. This macabre story, set in England's dark woods for the video, represents the band's most elaborate production to date.

"Wake Up The Wicked" marks a significant milestone for Powerwolf, celebrating their 20th anniversary with a blend of their signature sound and new musical explorations. Produced by Joost van den Broek at Sandlane Recording Facilities, the album aims to add numerous live favorites to their already impressive discography.

But the excitement doesn't stop with the album release. Powerwolf is gearing up for an extensive tour to support their new music. In a first for the band, they'll embark on their inaugural North American tour in August 2024, followed by their largest European headlining tour yet.

For metal enthusiasts and newcomers alike, Powerwolf's latest offering promises an immersive experience that combines historical intrigue with hard-hitting metal. As the band continues to push boundaries and explore new territories, both musically and geographically, "Wake Up The Wicked" is shaping up to be a landmark release in their two-decade career.

With "Sinners Of The Seven Seas," Powerwolf invites listeners to join them on a high-seas adventure, blending their signature theatrical style with a touch of historical flair. As the countdown to the album release begins, fans around the world are eagerly anticipating what other surprises this powerhouse metal band has in store.
