Exciting news for metal fans: Five Finger Death Punch is hard at work on their next album. Zoltan Bathory, the band's guitarist, revealed this information during an exclusive interview at Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting. The upcoming release will follow their 2022 album "AfterLife," keeping fans on the edge of their seats with anticipation.

"We're working on it," Bathory confirmed. "So there's a new album coming, hopefully next year. We'll see when, but we've been working on stuff." This announcement has sent waves of excitement through the band's fanbase, eager to hear what the metal powerhouse has in store.

Bathory emphasized the importance of consistent musical output in today's fast-paced industry. "I think we have to make a record every two years, or three years maximum. Because we're in the thick of it. All the bands are evolving quickly. Times are changing, [and it's] very different for us," he explained. This approach reflects the band's commitment to staying relevant and evolving with their audience.

One of the most intriguing aspects of Five Finger Death Punch's music is its topical nature. Bathory highlighted this, saying, "Everything we write is socially or politically or personally relevant. We don't write about historical events. That means everything we work on has to be current." This focus on contemporary issues adds depth to their music and resonates strongly with their listeners.

As they work on new material, the band is also gearing up for a busy tour schedule. They recently announced a headlining U.S. tour for this summer, featuring Marilyn Manson and Slaughter To Prevail as opening acts. This tour promises to be a must-see event for metal enthusiasts.

While fans eagerly await the new album, they can enjoy the recently released digital deluxe edition of "AfterLife," which dropped on April 5th. This expanded version includes the original 12 tracks produced by Kevin Churko, plus four bonus tracks, giving fans even more of the hard-hitting sound they love.

Five Finger Death Punch continues to prove why they're one of the leading forces in modern metal. With their commitment to regular releases, topical lyrics, and high-energy performances, the band shows no signs of slowing down. As they craft their next album, fans around the world are counting down the days until they can headbang to fresh Five Finger Death Punch tracks.
