NIGHTWISH is Set to Release a New Single on 21 May

The highly anticipated new NIGHTWISH single, 'Perfume Of The Timeless,' is set to drop on May 21st. This epic track serves as the lead from the band's upcoming 10th album, 'Yesterwynde,' which is scheduled for release on September 20th. It's been four long years since the band's last album, 'Human:||: Nature,' and the wait is finally over.

Keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen recently revealed what fans can expect from "Perfume Of The Timeless." Clocking in at a majestic eight-and-a-half minutes, the song boasts a chorus that makes its grand entrance at the three-and-a-half-minute mark. Despite its length, the band's label, Nuclear Blast, enthusiastically embraced the ambitious track.

Despite Nightwish's break from live shows since June 2023, keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen wants to reassure fans. This pause is just a breather, a chance for the band to recharge and prepare for more music. With a fresh multi-record deal with Nuclear Blast, the band's commitment to their craft is stronger than ever, promising more epic compositions in the future.
